For my visual communications class, our final project was to create a mini-documentary about anything. It could have been serious, funny, a PSA, or a mock PSA. I chose to do my mini-documentary on college living options after your freshman year of college. 

 

I chose to create this documentary because I struggled for a little while to find a living situation after my freshman year. I went back to the dorms, and it was a great fit for me. However, having everyone else around me finding apartments or trying to get a house made me feel like there was only one option.

 

I wanted to inform and show people that there are many options out there and not every option will work for every person. I saw people rush into situations they thought would be great, and have reality come crashing in forcing them to scramble to solve a problem. I want to be sure that people know to do their research and continue to do so until they find the right match.
